Why can't Y/A sponsor a live debate between the proponents of illegal immigration against the anti-side?

Simple fact is, the electorate has ALREADY spoken. Illegal immigration is, well, ILLEGAL. Congress, at the insistence of the people has had laws regulating immigration for well over a century. Nothing hard to understand about that. Now, I'd love to hear some pro-amnesty types explain just why SOME people shouldn't have to follow the laws to come here, while others do. I've yet to get an answer to my favorite question, Just what do I tell my students in Turkey about why they should have to jump through immigration hoops and pay high student fees to come here, yet illegal aliens can just walk across the border and expect to get not only "free" K-12 educations, but legal status. Do I just tell them that laws don't matter--this in a country that has high levels of corruption and bribery, just like Mexico? That just doesn't square with most Americans' notion of "fair play"--or theirs. You might also note that one country, Mexico, sends more that 15% of our LEGAL immigrants and has done so for two decades, due largely to the 1986 amnesty. Just how is THAT fair to other countries, much less the U.S.?
