Have the wwe writers taken their xmas holiday early and left festus in charge?

I think it's just how the WWE storyliners are working the angles now in order to hype up the Royal Rumble and make it more interesting for the fans.It could well be that it's all being set up for another big shock or swerve at the Rumble itself.
